Depending on the processing activity, we rely on:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures,

  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with legal obligations,

  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interests (e.g. secure, stable operation of the website, answering enquiries, presenting our activities).

B. Data Processing When Visiting Our Website

3. Hosting and Technical Infrastructure (Wix & Domain Provider)

Our website is created and hosted using services provided by Wix (Wix.com Ltd. and affiliated entities). Wix provides the technical infrastructure, servers and platform for operating this website and processes certain personal data on our behalf (e.g. IP addresses, device and browser data, security-relevant identifiers).

Our domain is provided by domainfactory GmbH (or its current operating company) as domain and DNS provider.

When you visit our website, your browser automatically transmits information that is stored in server log files (on infrastructure provided by Wix), including:

These data are processed in order to:

6. Contact via E-mail and Contact Form (HubSpot)

You can contact us via the contact form on our website or by e-mail.

When using the contact form, we typically process:

  • Company (if provided)

  • Other information you voluntarily provide (e.g. role, interests, event preferences)

For this purpose, we use the CRM and form services of HubSpot:

The data you enter in the form are transmitted to HubSpot and stored there so that we can manage and respond to your enquiry and organise our contact management.

If you indicate that you are interested in information about our events, actions and activities, we use HubSpot to send you corresponding e-mails. This is not a regular newsletter, but occasion-based communication.

Legal basis:

  • For processing your enquiry:

    • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – where your request relates to a (potential) contractual relationship;

    • otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in efficient communication and contact management.

  • For sending information about events and activities:

    • your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), or

    • in individual cases our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in informing existing contacts about similar events and activities, insofar as permitted by law.

You can object to receiving such information or withdraw your consent at any time, e.g. via an unsubscribe link in our e-mails (if available) or by contacting us directly.

Third-country transfer:
HubSpot may process data in the USA. Adequate data protection is ensured by the use of Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards implemented by HubSpot.

We store contact and communication data for as long as necessary to process your request and in accordance with statutory retention obligations.

 

D. Analytics, Search and Performance Monitoring

7. Web Analytics with Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website and to improve our content and services.

Third-country transfer: Data may be transferred to the USA. Adequate protection is ensured by standard contractual clauses and further safeguards introduced by Google.

 
8. Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to monitor and improve the technical performance and visibility of our website in Google Search, for example indexing status, search queries and possible technical issues.

Google Search Console provides us primarily with aggregated and anonymised data. We do not use this service to process identifiable personal data from individual website visitors.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in monitoring and optimising our website for search engines and users.

 

E. Social Media and Embedded Third-Party Content

9. Elfsight LinkedIn Feed

We integrate a LinkedIn feed into our website using a widget provided by Elfsight. This widget displays posts from our LinkedIn profile directly on our website.

  • your browser connects to Elfsight’s servers,

  • and content is retrieved from LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company / LinkedIn Corporation).

  • Operating system

  • Referrer URL

  • Date and time of access

  • Technical data required to display the widget

If you are logged in to LinkedIn while visiting our website, LinkedIn may associate your visit with your LinkedIn account.

We use the LinkedIn feed to present our social media activities and keep you informed about our latest news and updates.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – your consent to marketing / social media cookies via the cookie / consent banner. Without your consent, the LinkedIn feed will not be loaded.

Third-country transfer: Data may be transmitted to countries outside the EU/EEA, particularly the United States. Adequate protection is ensured via Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards used by Elfsight and LinkedIn.
